Once upon a time I created the Weasel for the band Screeching Weasel, I did a couple album covers and some flyers and ephemera for them. The band still uses the art, and it’s been tattooed on hundreds, maybe thousands of people. It’s weird.

In the 1990s did a lot of freelance print graphic design work for a multitude of clients through a temp agency. Highlights are the prestigious Ravinia Festival and a bunch of work for a nightclub owner.

This continued to be part of the work I did at my first game industry job, High Voltage software, where I also did a lot of motion graphics for the Chicago Bulls, Microsoft, and First Alert. Included in my responsibilities were animatics and storyboards.

Then I worked as a world artist on Halo for 12 years at Bungie in Chicago and Seattle, then another year at Certain Affinity in Austin, TX. That was INTENSE.

I needed a change of pace, so since I’ve been doing freelance graphic design and illustration again. I’ve had a lot of fun and varied clients from a video game podcast; to punk and metal bands; a local drive in theater event for a horror hostess; illustration commissions; and vending horror fan art at markets.
